New chess group for mothers and daughter opens in The Stow

A NEW chess group for mothers and daughters has started in Harlow.
It is a free six week beginners course for Mother and Daughter (girls aged from 9 to 16 can attend).
Some of the benefits of chess include
The course will start from Sunday 23rd January 2pm – 3pm but you can start from they rnext meeting on Sunday February 6th.
The course will be run at Moot House in Harlow.

Congratulations on this. Chess is a sadly neglected game in this country. Harlow chess club, for whom I played back in the 1970's used to meet at Moot House so perhaps this will lead to a resurrection-I would certainly join
