AHEAD of next week’s Tchoukball Festival at Mark Hall, Luke Hammond (Purford Green/Potter Street) came across to Church Langley to provide SGO – David Stacey – with a brief recap on the rules of the fast-paced game.
Assisted by 10 children who, despite the near arctic conditions, were excited to escape Friday morning maths, Luke provided some tips for improving gameplay.
The children loved how the game combined elements of rugby, netball, handball and cricket though it did take them a while to comprehend the multi-directional nature of the attacking phase.
Thanks again to Luke Hammond for giving of his PPA time to support the primary school sport in Harlow; it was really appreciated.
