Storm Dudley hits Harlow with Storm Eunice around the corner
News / Thu 17th Feb 2022 at 07:30am
IT was a windy Wednesday night in Harlow as Storm Dudley swept through town.
Whilst its impact was more intensely felt in Northern England and Scotland there was still quite a stormy night here.
A large tree fell just outside The Hare pub on Hare Street Springs.

There were no reports of any injuries.
Storm Dudley moves away early on Thursday – but more severe weather is on the way with Storm Eunice set to hit southern Scotland and the rest of the UK on Friday.
BBC Weather said Eunice would be “quite a potent storm” with widespread gusts of up to 70mph, occasionally reaching 100mph in England and Wales.
A number of weather warnings were issued by the Met Office with the first – for strong winds – lifted at 06:00 on Thursday.
If we get any more reports of structural damage, we will report it here.
