The Harlow Symphony Orchestra play the Ukrainian National Anthem

Entertainment / Thu 3rd Mar 2022 at 04:21pm

IT may only be a thirty seconds film but it is a lovely gesture by the Harlow Symphony Orchestra to play the Ukrainian National Anthem.

They performed it whilst in rehearsals for their spring concert on Sunday March 13th at the St Johns Arc in Old Harlow.

The Lyrics

Ukraine is not yet dead, nor its glory and freedom,
Luck will still smile on us brother-Ukrainians.
Our enemies will die, as the dew does in the sunshine,
and we, too, brothers, we’ll live happily in our land.

We’ll not spare either our souls or bodies to get freedom
and we’ll prove that we brothers are of Kozak kin.

Donations urgently needed: cash for medical supplies one way is via The Red Cross. Or UNICEF Call to Nato, UK, America to donate a "No Fly Zone " and missile shields. Putin doesn't care about sanctions or the Russian people and they take far too long to save thousands of lives. Cease buying Russian oil and gas and turn off the flow of cash that's flooding into Russia filling Putin's war chest. Better short term rationing fuel here and the EU now than Putin continues even another hour. Better stop Putin because states like Latvia will be next and emboldened might China attack Taiwan?

Nostradamus, I agree. We need to end our dependency on Russian oil and gas immediately. We in the West have been complacent for too long. Even Putin must realise that any incursion on the Baltic States which are NATO members immediately triggers war with the entire Alliance. Ultimately, the Russian people themselves need to depose him and end this barbaric war.
