UNEARTHED, a new exhibition at The Gallery at Parndon Mill has just opened and looks very beautiful.

Paintings by Deirdre Shepherd, incorporating gold and silver leaf, celebrate the ancient landscapes of the Outer Hebrides and Ireland.

They are a personal response to the colours and atmosphere of these ancient places and they shimmer. Complementing the paintings are sculptural ceramics by Nigel Earle which are influenced by geology, landscape, architecture and industrial archaeology.

The paintings and the ceramics look splendid together and are a delight to view.
