HARLOW MP Robert Halfon has issued a statement following the large fire on River Way this morning (Tuesday).

Mr Halfon said: “It is so sad to see the smoke across the sky in Harlow this morning. It is upsetting to see such a successful Harlow businesses impacted in this way.

“I pay sincere thanks to the Police and Fire Service who have worked so hard this morning to deal with the fire swiftly. 

“I will do everything I can to support the business that has been so devastatingly affected. 

“I encourage all residents to follow the guidance being issued by the Council and Fire Service, to keep windows and doors closed to avoid the smoke.”
