Arrest made after man found with head injury in Harlow Market Square

Statement from Essex Police

We were called at around 3am today (30 April) following reports of an assault at Eastgate, Harlow.

We attended and found a man, 30s, with a head injury who was taken to hospital.

A 31-year-old man from Harlow was arrested on suspicion of GBH. He remains in custody for questioning.

ESSEX Police sealed off parts of the market square in the town centre this morning.

The section stretched from the Lloyds Bank to the former Welfare Rights office.

Both uniform and plain clothes officers were present.

By 0830 hrs it appeared that part of the cord was being removed.

Yes Adam you are so right...yet again Harlow in the gutter...every single day in the news there is something outrageous happening in Harlow.. It's getting to be a place that's so dangerous normal people don't want to come out at lone people coming here as if they do then it could be them next. FAR too much of it going on all over Harlow. On Estates, schools, shopping areas, petrol stations, railway stations, even the hospital's, everywhere just seems to the same..it's almost like an island where all the scum come to to create as much havoc as they possibly can. Almost like the scum are in competition to get the higher errakie of each other. Harlow won't ever change now because it's all gone much too far before pulling things back into control. One of the favourite excuses from the arm of the law & Harlow itself is " we do not have the workforce" that being the law the council everything.its a real shame because Harlow used to be lovely.

Let’s not forget we have the Tory’s to thank for the situation we find ourselves in with all this antisocial behaviour and increased ( all crime ) rates for all London Borough’s to off load their “scum” to be housed in Harlow and other councils around the country and that’s without the influx of immigrants, what nearly all people of Harlow forget is no matter which party is voted in in Harlow, the overall control rests with Essex County Council which is and always has/will be run by the Tories so they’ll always control the purse strings and have the ultimate say on what local policy’s are passed and their favourite excuse it was Labour’s fault.
