Parndon Mill Exhibition: Colours, curves and textures

Entertainment / Wed 4th May 2022 am31 09:46am

THE next exhibition in The Gallery, COLOURS, CURVES and TEXTURES, is a spectacular one. It presents photographs by Lynne Blount and Sylvie Gummery taken at Perry Green over many months, with the kind permission of the Henry Moore Foundation. Created in camera using multiple exposures, the settings give the intensity of colour and the depth to the textures.

They appear to be abstract images, but are a celebration of the sculptor’s genius as well as being an art form in their own right. In this exhibition they are complemented by stone carved sculptures by James Copper who has worked with the Moore Foundation for many years.

This is a very interesting exhibition and not to be missed. We hope you can come to the Private View on Sunday 15th May from 2 till 4 when you can meet the artists.

This is the last week of our current exhibition, UNEARTHED. Beautiful paintings embellished with gold and silver leaf by Deirdre Shepherd are based on the Outer Hebrides and Ireland and are complemented by sculptural ceramics by Nigel Earle. If you have not already come to see them, do catch this exhibition before it closes this Sunday.
