Essex Police launch investigation into former Harlow Conservative councillor’s twitter accounts

ESSEX Police has confirmed that they are investigating a report of a hate incident in Harlow.
Police are investigating after a newly-elected Harlow councillor was accused of sharing “racist” comments on social media.
An Essex Police spokesperson said:
“We are investigating one report of a hate incident in Harlow which relates to a number of social media posts.
“We are currently assessing whether any criminal offences have taken place and will follow the College of Policing guidance as we do so”.

Maybe their resources could be better used patrolling the town centre at night or investigating burglaries and theft, instead of just giving you a crime number?
