Opportunity for actors to be involved in comedy pilots

Entertainment / Mon 16th May 2022 pm31 03:17pm

TWO opportunities have arisen for actors to be involved in two comedy projects.

Harlow actress and comedian Clare Harrison McCartney has just returned from a BBC Comedy Festival in Newcastle as part of her development for a number of projects.

Now that Claire has returned for the three day seminar, she now has to produce the pilots.

Claire said: “I’m looking for a young female comedian actress , preferably on the circuit, to play an ordinary girl around aged 19 in my sitcom. It’s only a few lines.

“I am looking for a BAME actor. Male, around 40, to play a love interest for a comedic dating scene.

“They may have quite a lot of dialogue, so would be good to be a trained actor. Preferably also a comedian.

“Would be great if both actors live close to Harlow in Essex, due to filming location.

“My lack of budget means there is no pay, but expenses covered and hoping to air as a short film at the BBC Comedy Festival next year so would be a credit”

This young lady is a breath of fresh air to Harlow, She's been in harlow all her life and always supports the community. It's about time she was a big name of the Comedy scene instead of some of these clowns that grace our screens. I wish her every success with this Project. Well done Clare
