Athletics: St Mark’s George takes Essex Schools 1500 metre crown

IT has been quite a track season for St Mark’s Year 7 student George Watkins as he has produced an impressive array of times and performances.
At the weekend, representing West Essex Schools, he won the Year 7 Essex 1500 metre champs in a time of 4.45.54
A massive congratulations to him for representing West Essex and St Mark’s. Everyone connected to the school are very proud of you.
Well done to seven Year 7 pupils who were selected to represent West Essex at the Athletics County Championships. They all performed well, and some achieved personal bests in their events.
