TO celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Essex Way, CPRE Essex is launching a photographic competition – and everyone is invited to join.
The countryside charity played a leading role in bringing about this beautiful 81-mile walk from Epping to Harwich and is now keen for its delights to be shared far and wide through a selection of images.
The best shots will be posted at the CPRE Essex AGM and on the charity’s website.
You are invited to take shots of landscapes, buildings, people… whatever takes your fancy as long as your images are taken on the Essex Way.
The competition will have three age groups:
11 and younger
There will be prizes of £15, £25 and £50 in each group.
The competition is open to entries from now, with a closing date of Friday, September 2.
Both digital and hard-copy images are welcome. Winners will be notified, either by post or email, by Monday, September 19.
You can post entries to CPRE Essex, RCCE House, Threshelfords Business Park, Inworth Road, Feering, Colchester CO5 9SE

Perhaps they should be swamped with pictures of the HGGT site and the lovely view from the back of the common woods across the valley towards the priory which EFDC will destroy.
