Covid: 3m adults still unvaccinated in England
Health / Wed 13th Jul 2022 at 06:14am
NEARLY three million adults in England have still not come forward for a Covid vaccine, data reveals.
Experts say the figure includes some people who could get extremely sick if they were to catch the virus reports the BBC.

Most elderly and vulnerable people have already had several protective shots.
Getting fully immunised saves lives by cutting the risk of severe Covid illness, although it cannot fully stop infections. Cases have been rising rapidly in the UK in recent weeks.
An estimated 2.7m people – or one in every 25 – is thought to be infected.
Fresh waves of Covid are also being seen in other countries because of waning immunity and new Covid variants. The virus keeps mutating or changing.
The chief of the World Health Organization has warned that the pandemic is “nowhere near over”.

Maybe instead of just forcing vaccines on people to make money, maybe bring back mask wearing and stopping people being able to go out with it. There’s the problem, kids can go to school even if testing positive after 3 days. What about vulnerable children they mix with or their parents and teachers going home to their families who could be vulnerable. Also people going to work with it spreading it because they can’t afford to lose money. Quite clearly Boris’s living with covid and washing his hands of it hasn’t worked. Thank goodness he’s being replaced!
If someone tests positive, they don't have to isolate which is ridiculous. Hardly anyone wears a mask now.
Doesn't matter whether boris is in charge or not the covid policy won't change unless it gets markedly worse, m azzy the ones that get sick pay will isolate while the ones that don't won't, im only on a 3 hr contract and have been for over 8 years and if I tested postive unless I'm ill I wouldn't isolate either.
Well whoever is in charge needs to do something. It’s ok saying if people feel fine they’ll go out, but that’s selfish when there’s people who end up severely ill or hospitalised. Take a minute to think of the people who have weak immune systems. They should be able to go about their day feeling safe knowing they are not in contact with someone who knows they have it.
Covid is here to stay in some form or another just like flu, you can't expect the government to hold you're hand forever and force people to wear masks and isolate when testing postive, you can't live in a covid state forever, not selfish at all just realistic, if you feel vulnerable just wear a mask just don't expect everyone else to do the same.
