Football / Fri 19th Aug 2022 at 11:36am

DANNY Chapman continues to be busy behind the scenes as the Harlow boss more players to his squad.

Jimmy Wallace
Wallace was part of the Southend United academy, sending last season on loan with Isthmian League Premier Division side Bishop’s Stortford. The youngster featured 9 times in the league for the Blues, scoring once, while also featuring once in the FA Cup and twice in the FA Trophy.

James Folkes
Full-back James Folkes comes into the squad having featured for Barking last season. He played in over 30 games for the Blues in the league, netting on three separate occasions as well as featuring in several cup competitions including 6 appearances in the FA Cup.

Louis James
James will look to bolster the Hawks attacking force as the centre-forward joins for the 2022/23 season. Last season, the forward played for Edgware Town.

Serge Erkarslan
Erkarslan returns to the Hawks for the first time since the 2019/20 season, looking to strengthen the midfield. The midfielder has also featured for Cheshunt, Haringey Borough and fellow-Southern League side Hertford Town since playing for the Hawks.

Chiedozie Nwosu

The Hawks welcome Chiedozie Nwosu to the squad. The goalkeeper has previously played for East Thurrock United before he joined Hornchurch last season, making a couple of appearances for the Isthmian League Premier Division side.

For the Rocks, he only featured once in a draw with Folkestone Invicta before spending the rest of the season as an understudy, when he then decided to make the move across Essex.

Nwosu will be available for selection tonight as we make the trip to Brickfield Lane to take on Hadley in a Southern League Division One Central clash.

Hani Berchiche.

The attack-minded player most recently featured for FC Romania having signed for the Wolves from Isthmian League Premier Division side Wingate & Finchley in February 2021. Amongst his list of previous clubs, the young forward has played for Concord Rangers, Billericay Town, Met Police and Chalfont St Peter before he jetted off to America, spending time at Newman University Jets. Upon his return to the UK, he played for Edgware Town and Wembley FC.

The Algerian has played over 78 games for his catalogue of clubs, scoring 12 goals, but he will look to add to that during his time with the Hawks.
