Fantastic! Now that the school holidays are coming to and end, we are shown a pretty butterfly. Surely this repair work could have been planned ahead of the holiday period. Don’t tell me that the Council left this to HTS, who seem to be on permanent holiday. Judging by the number of HTS vans parked up, we can expect this to be ready by Christmas! HTS is a joke. Get a professional outfit to do this job!

Was told it had been vandalized after opening. Is this true.

Utterly pointless. The residents of this town will destroy it in a matter of days.

When the construction of this water park started I commented on the likelihood of vandalism and also the youths continuing to use it for drug use and deals and drunkenness as they did when it was a paddling pool. In July the council stated that the construction was vandalised and may not open until August. I also asked if security with cameras and regular security visits would be in place to keep the park safe from damage.

Awesome, it'll be open just in time for the kids to go back to school and the weather to turn!

It was vandalised just before opening, took time to get parts to fix-just unfortunate before school holiday! Should not have been done in this area, full of chavs, low life’s and kids hanging around upto no good, the slum of Harlow. Should have done town park first

It's such a shame a few of you think so badly of Harlow In thinking our children don't deserve this. There will always be a minority that will spoil it for others so I hope cameras up away from the water will be a deterant . I believe name and shame so anyone who does cause a nuisance will be put up for all to see , especially their parents . I'm also hoping this splash area when ready will stay open during term time so it can be used 😀

Shocking! all that time and money for a few sprinklers. Much better left as a paddling pool. Harlow council should of used the money to fix the roads the holes are a joke!!

What a waste of money, the council are away with the clouds, if they are going to spend this type of money it should have been put in the Town Park not that end of town

I think its a fa tactics idea putting this in for the kids. It's just a Shane you the youths of today font have the respect and vanished it. Dont matter where you are you still have the group of disrespectful youths everywhere. Harlow is a great town and I love it living here and look forward to my grandson growing up in the area
