Police investigate sex attack on Nicholls Field

Update: The man arrested has been released on bail as enquiries continue.

ESSEX Police has launched an investigation into a reports of a sexual assault, which reportedly occurred at Nicholls Field in Harlow.
Officers were called shortly before 4am this morning (20 August) following reports of a woman being sexually assaulted.
A man has been arrested in connection with this investigation and currently in custody.

The crime wasn't at 4am- it got reported before 4am, it could have happened hours earlier. She could have been with a friend she trusted, who she never thought would do this. Why can’t we all go out at any time of the day or night make’s me sick that the first thing people say is why was a woman out at that time in the morning we should be able to go out when we please. Just because we are out don’t mean we want it or we are looking for it we could just be getting home from a night out or heading to work. Why can’t we just be there for each other and maybe help someone in need. I always walk home from a night out because I don’t live far and don’t want to wait of pay for a cab .
