Police impose dispersal order after large car meet in Harlow

A DISPERSAL order was put in place in Harlow following concerns relating to a large car meet.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We received a number of calls from concerned members of the public this evening (Sat), following a large car meet, consisting of around 50 vehicles.

The reports included incidents of anti-social behaviour and careless driving around Edinburgh Way in Harlow.

“To reduce the disruption to the residents of Harlow, a dispersal order was put in place, covering areas including River Way, Old Harlow, Church Langley and Harlow Town Centre.

“This remained in place until 6am on 21 August”.

Unsociable driving is norm in Harlow so why pick on the youngsters! Quote concerned residents called Police funny that when the meet had not started! what a load of bull! I suggest the Police place a dispersal order for every night in and around Harlow IE the Stow etc to stop Motorbikes racing up and down the road and pavements and cycle tracks ! Concerned residents here have called 101 and the Police hundreds of times and yet they get we cannot chase them as they may fall from their bikes! Get real and leave the cars that have tax mot and insurance alone and focus on all the other drink drivers and idiots who ride motorbikes with NO MOT NO INSURANCE AND NO TAX AND WHO ARE CLEARLY ANNOYING THE RESIDENTS

Resident Im sure educated people understand fully what I am saying! The majority of youngsters gather to talk and show off their modifications! yes from time to time some idiots turn up and this is where the Police Police the actions but seldom does this happen as we have no police! The whole town is becoming a complete lawless town with drugs being peddled on the streets and most of the roads depict a war zone what with the holes in them and rubbish flying everywhere! Our Council is far from first class all you get from them is its not our fault is all Labours and the greens!
