Police seal off parts of Potter Street after serious assault

‘We were called to Potter Street in Harlow around 2:45pm yesterday (21 August) following reports of a man being assaulted. The victim suffered minor, superficial injuries and was taken to hospital.
A 32-year-old woman from Harlow has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. She remains in custody.
Enquiries are ongoing.’

ESSEX Police has sealed off parts of the Potter Street area after an incident.
They attended at just after 1500 hrs on Sunday afternoon.
A number of emergency service vehicles are at Prentice Place outside the Baptist Church.
They have also sealed off London Road near Miller and Carter.
The air ambulance attended briefly, landing on the green at Church Road but went away soon after.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: ‘Officers are currently on scene at Potter Street in Harlow following a serious assault.
We were called around 2:45pm following reports of a man being assaulted, close to the Red Lion Pub. The victim is currently receiving medical attention and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or changing.
A 22-year-old woman from Harlow has been arrested.
“Officers remain in the area and the public are asked to respect and scenes in place.’

Your Harlow does update stories, have a look back at some, they need an update from the police I guess before they can update the site. Hopefully nothing too serious and everyone is OK.

Yes we did get an update. Remanded on bail until December 15th for her next court appearance. Shows how much backlog there is in the court system.

Jess is a precious friend of mine. She is a victim of circumstance. Physical abuse and strangulation by the dreads of society was a nasty part of her life. The coward walks free and the Police failed her. Jess did what she did for Self Preservation. She is the sweetest, most compassionate girl you could meet. The Police should hang their heads in shame. Rather than listen to the girl they remand the victim. A DISGRACE.
