A WOMAN has been charged following a incident in Potter Street on Sunday afternoon.

Jessica Bastone, 32 of Terminus House, Harlow has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession of a pointed article in a public place, assault causing actual bodily harm and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place. 

She appeared at Chelmsford magistrates court and was remanded on bail until her next court appearance on December 15th.

Bastpne has pled not guilty.
