ST Mark’s West Essex Catholic School celebrated another successful year of GCSE results with some exceptional performances across the board. Despite all the difficulties and uncertainties of the past two years, students taking the first public examinations since 2019 have acquitted themselves well.

Headteacher Elaine Heaphy said: “Under the difficult circumstances of the last two years, these results are a great achievement for the students and staff at our school. There are so many individual stories and so many successes and so much for students to be proud of.
Everyone in the school has worked hard to make these results happen and I am so proud of what they represent. Coming on the back of some exceptionally good A Levels last week, it has been a very good two weeks for us all.
“I look forward to welcoming these students into our Sixth Form next week”.
