Appeal after man assaulted at retail park in Harlow

ESSEX Police is appealing for witnesses of an assault in Harlow to contact them.

It was reported that an assault took place between 2pm and 2.15pm on Sunday 21 August at the Oaks Retail Park in Howard Way.

The victim reported sitting in his car when the driver of a Mercedes exited his car and assaulted him through an open car window. When the victim got out of his car, he was further assaulted and his car was damaged. 

The Mercedes driver returned to his car and drove away.  

The victim sustained a facial injury.

A spokesperson said: “We believe that the incident was recorded on mobile phones by people who may have witnessed the incident and we would like them to contact us to tell us what happened.
