ON Sunday, Frontiers Ladies played host to Eastern Region side AFC Dunstable Ladies in the Women’s FA Cup.

This was always going to be a tough task when it was their first competitive game of the season and their third but the girls stepped up to the task and played really well.

A game of very few clear cut chances but when one did fall their way. It was Kelly Holsworth, who whipped the ball in the box for Loren Delamere to fire past the keeper in the 35th minute.

From then onwards the game was managed perfectly keeping it solid frustrating Dunstable and limiting them to half chances at best.

With that win Frontiers now travel to Harrow on the 2nd October to play Headstone Manor.
