HUNDREDS of prospective pupils along with their parents attended an Open Evening at St Mark’s West Catholic School.

The open evening was a showcase for the great work the school does and the excellent exam results that they achieve.

YH spoke to a number of prospective parents who were particularly impressed by the opening speech by Headteacher, Elaine Heaphy, whose speech was described as “warm, honest and engaging”.

Many parents were not only impressed with what the school had to offer now but were also interested in plans for the future.

From Art to English, Maths, Science, Religious Studies and much more, the prospective students could see how their child would benefit from an education at the Tripton Road school.
