Harlow gymnasts bring home gold at Zinc and Copper challenge

MEDAL winners Summer Dolan and Grace Hoskin shone for Harlow Gymnastics Club at the Zinc & Copper Challenge, competing against gymnast from top-flight clubs at Colchester School of Gymnastics. Six further gymnasts from the club were recognised for excellent performances with rosettes awarded, and all competing gymnasts achieved a high standard within their level.
Summer Dolan triumphed with the silver medal on vault finishing in 11th place overall, with Grace Hoskins scooping the bronze medal on vault finishing in 22nd place overall, both in the copper age 12+ event. Teammate Kara McMahon won the 6th place overall rosette for an outstanding event performance, after earning the 5th place rosette for floor and 6th place rosette on vault. Mia Brine accomplished the 4th place rosette on vault, finishing in 16th place overall, while Elsie Leverington was awarded the 5th place rosette for vault, placing in 26th overall. Completing the almost full sweep on vault, Emily Price and Lola Manuel shared the 6th place vault rosette with Kara, finishing in 15th and 23rd place respectively overall. Emily Forey and Skye Girolami finished in 20th and 21st positions respectively, concluding the copper age 12+event.
Libby Chung accomplished the 5th place rosette on beam in the zinc age 11+ event, finishing in a respectable 11th place overall.
Meanwhile, Genna Lee secured the 6th place rosette on vault, finishing in 14th position overall in the in copper age 10-11 event.
Finally, in the zinc age 9-10 event, Olivia Beckwith and Ivy Clarke placed 16th and 20th respectively.
