Primary pupils have great fun at Badminton event

ONCE again, with a change from the previous competitive format, this year’s annual badminton event was a resounding success.
The event was adapted to be focus more on coaching key skills, reducing wait times and enjoyment.

The new format was excellent and all the children (and staff) involved commented on the increased level of engagement and the greater progress of skill acquisition.
The children from Tanys Dell (2 teams), Hatfield Heath (4 teams), Nazeing (3 teams), St Nicholas and Fawbert and Barnard (2 teams) formed 12 teams who took part in a number of fun challenges; the staff were even involved in a shuttlecock version of the ‘stuck in the mud’, which the children dominated! SGO, David Stacey thanked all the children for displaying fantastic behaviours throughout the morning.
