Exciting times as Brighton company buy Redchurch Brewery.

A BRIGHTON-based brewing company has bought the popular Harlow-based company, Redchurch Brewery.
Redchurch Brewery is based at Mead Park off River way and over the past few years have had a popular presence in the town.
They have also been a hub for community and social events from comedy nights, music events as well as events for St Clare Hospice and Opportunity Harlow.
A spokesperson for The Laine Pub and Brewing Company said: “The Laine Brewing Company is excited to welcome the team at Redchurch into its rapidly expanding craft beer business, following the acquisition of Redchurch’s brewing operation in Harlow.
“Laine is delighted to have the opportunity to use its established distribution network to grow the profile of Redchurch’s award winning beers throughout the UK, and is very much expecting to increase the volumes brewed at the Harlow facility.
“The existing Redchurch team have been instrumental in creating the craft brewer’s outstanding portfolio and will be central to the continued development and growth of Redchurch as a producer of high quality and great tasting beer. “

I hope production remains in Harlow.
