Education & Enjoyment – ECCO’s year at Parndon Wood Nature Reserve so far.

IT has been an incredible year so far at the woods, it has been a pleasure to host so many school trips for our local primary KS1 groups. We are very proud to have had over 500 pupils visit the reserve on school trips in 2022 alone.

Who could forget the 21 children birthday parties we’ve hosted this year, lots of bug hunting, den building and treasure searching! We hope everyone who has been to a birthday this year had a great time!

We also had our busiest summer to date here, across the 6 weeks holiday’s we had children’s activities every day! We are so pleased to say that all activities put on were completely free of charge. We are proud to make these activities as accessible as possible everyone who attends.

We at ECCO will continue to do our best for the community.
