Harlow is 75: Interview with Concetta Clarizio. On families, food and Ferraris
Harlow is 75: A Celebration of Global Harlow / Sun 23rd Oct 2022 at 01:28pm
ON a few occasions, as part of this project, we have been signposted to a number of people, who our contacts said, would be suitable for our project.
The people we are interested in should have been born or lived in another country. However, on at least two occasions, we find out they weren’t.
However, what we believe people meant was that the person embraced many many things about that country and about that culture.
One example was Concetta Clarizio.
We spoke to Connie during MHP Theatre rehearsals.
Funnily enough, we discussed food, families and Ferraris!
To mark the town’s 75thanniversary, Harlow Council and Your Harlow have launched a project which records the diverse history, heritage, and culture of the people and groups which are part of modern-day Harlow.
The Harlow at 75 project is made up of audio-visual recordings of conversations with both individuals and groups that explores their lives abroad before resettling in Harlow. The project reflects that we are a local but global new town and explores themes such as the definition of “Home”.
