EVERY month, Harlow Running and Triathlon Club award a prize for member of the month.

It is obvious that the members think a lot before casting their vote.

Some months it is a no-brainer.

Last month, Fieke Blackwell won after her achievements completing an Ironman in Hawaii.

But this month, the award went to Donna Milton, who since coming to the club has been very much respected for her team mentality.

If she isn’t running, she is always helping and encouraging others.

Harlow Running and Tri Club member Martyn Coulter completed the Abingdon Marathon on Sunday morning, finishing in 187th place out of 704 finishers in an excellent 3hrs 11min 41sec, a PB by over 7min.

Meanwhile, at the Ipswich Half Marathon Robert Foxley finished in 63rd place out of 799 finishers in a PB time of 1.31.34.

At the hilly and off-road Beachy Head Half Marathon at Eastbourne Sandra Webber finished in 345th place out of 644 finishers in 2.34.02.

At the Norwich 10k Martin Westley finished in 93rd place out of 6201 finishers in 38.17 and Liz Roberts was 4959th in 68.30

There were Harlow parkrun PBs for Chris Mella finishing in 10th place out of 202 finishers in 21.35 and Louise Shury 112th in 30.38. Joanne Mills finished in 125th place in 31.47, a new Female Vet 75 Club Record.
