Emergency services descend on Harvey Centre

Crime / Wed 2nd Nov 2022 at 05:29pm

A LARGE number of emergency service vehicles attended at the Harvey Centre this morning (Wednesday).

Approximately, four ambulances and three police vehicles attended at the scene at just after 11am.

The air ambulance also landed nearby.

They attended at two shops, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor of the shopping centre.

Cordons were placed around a number of shops and YH understands that at one stage, there were discussions regarding the shopping centre being evacuated.

YH understands that there were two separate incidents relating to people’s health.

Essex Police has informed YH that they were there to attend “a medical emergency”.

East of England Air Ambulance Service has yet to respond.

Wrote about this use of ambulances and police cars but not about the police on Market Street last weekend. Friday was fighting outside the Crown and Saturday night was a hit and run, leaving some poor chap in the road.
