Police put on extra patrols after attempted child abduction in Harlow

ESSEX Police is investigating an incident which took place in Tawneys Road, Harlow, shortly before 5.30pm yesterday, (Monday November.)
It was reported that a man had approached a young girl and had attempted to lead her away.
Tawneys Road runs from Southern Way (near Bush Fair) to Westfield.
Thankfully, the girl was able to flee to safety and was not harmed.
She and her family are being supported by our officers.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are progressing.
A spokesperson said: “We currently have extra patrols in the area and anyone who is concerned can speak to officers. We would ask people to be extra vigilant and ask anyone with information on the incident or who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area to let us know.
“We would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time.
“The man involved is described to us as black, dressed all in black and was wearing a black hat.

Catch him before he does it again. The next person may not be so lucky.
Re open that bit of road, be more people about then and it would be better lit.
These sickos need to be locked away on a Devils Island with no return to keep children safe.
