HARLOW Running and Tri Club members participated in the Jo Arscott Memorial Run at Bishop’s Stortford on a wet Sunday morning. This is a 6k memorial run for the recently deceased Bishop’s Stortford runner. Miguel Luque finished in 17th place out of 75 finishers in 29min 39sec, Paul Dixon was 25th in 32.04, Alan Cootes 29th in 33.12, Gail Nicholls 31st in 33.47, Selina Morgan 41st in 35.09, Sandi Rust 48th in 36.40, Alan Godbold 49th in 36.41, Susan Maloney 61st in 39.03 and Luella Dixon 62nd in 39.33.  

Meanwhile, at the Stevenage Half Marathon Martyn Coulter finished in 23rd place out of 291 finishers in an excellent 1hr 29min 34sec. He was followed by John Tennant in 139th place and 1st Vet 70 in 1.53.29, Laura Prime 176th in 2.00.12 and Sandra Webber 198th in 2.04.38.

Sean Flynn finished the Run London Epping Forest trail 10K race in 44th place out of 132 finishers in 50.49.
Marc Unwin finished the 5k race in 5th place out of 43 finishers and 2nd Vet 40 in 23.51.

At Victoria Park 10k Joanne Mills finished in 274th place out of 325 finishers and 1st Female Vet 75 in 1.02.47, a new Female Vet 75 Club Record, and Paulene Galoppi was 320nd in 1.08.09.

The Rocket around the Track races at Wodson Park Sports Centre, Ware, runners can cover various distances by running a set number of laps.
Paul Watts ran 202 laps for a total distance of 50 miles, finishing in 8th place out of 8 finishers in an exhausting 11hrs 55min 24sec.
Laura Prime ran 25 laps for a total distance of 10k, finishing in 3rd place out of 7 finishers in 58min 45sec.   

There were parkrun PBs at Harlow parkrun from Marc Witham in 13th place out of 199 finishers in 21.15, Bradley Power 42nd in 24.09, Donna Milton 78th in 27.02, Julie Ireland 127th in 30.48 and Alex Soady 129th in 31.03.

Amber Ingle ran a PB at Storeys Field parkrun, Cambridge, finishing in 74th place out of 390 finishers in 21.35.
