HARLOW MP, Robert Halfon, is launching an appeal for nominations for the best small businesses in Harlow to celebrate Small Business Saturday 2022.
To celebrate Small Business Saturday, Robert is launching a competition to recognise the Best Business, Best New Business and Best Business with Apprentices from across Harlow and the villages. The winning businesses will all be recognised for their contribution to the community.
Everybody in Harlow and the villages is invited to nominate the best small businesses online at https://www.roberthalfon.com/form/small-business-saturday-2022 before Monday 21st November 2022.
Please note that any business nominated must be in Harlow or the villages and be independently owned. Constituents can make one nomination in each category. Any nominations exceeding this number will not be counted.
Robert commented, “Not only do small businesses provide jobs and vital services for Harlow residents, but they also help to build the community spirit everybody in Harlow values and enjoys.
That is why I have launched a competition to honour the wonderful work they do. I encourage all residents in Harlow to nominate a local business in one of the three categories and show their support for the network of small businesses in Harlow which contribute so much to our local economy.”
Great to see this initiative by Robert Halfon especially where this year a local business (us!) has been named one of the National Small Business Saturday #smallbiz100 for 2022. Supporting local is so important, especially at the moment when businesses are struggling. Harlow and the villages are home to such a variety of companies - we even have pasta made from wheat grown in Lower Sheering! It is particulaly nice to see it coming out on the day where we are being profiled and recognised by Small Business Saturday 🙂 Good luck to all the entrants - we know there are some absolutely amazing businesses locally who deserve to be championed.
No wonder why Matt Hancock is being bullied in camp and taking it, looks like the Conservative party are full of bullies. You’re all meant to be a team!
