ON Saturday morning, Harlow parkrun celebrated its eighth birthday.

The number of participants this week was 221.

Since November, 2014, there has been 352 running of the event in the Town Park.

Before the 5k jaunt around the town park, the organising team handed out presents to those who had volunteered in a variety of roles during the past year.

Parkrun cannot survive without the timekeepers, marshalls, photographers, funnel managers etc to help run the event.
