Athletics: Harlow runners show they are in good elf

HARLOW Running and Tri Club member Paul Watts took part in the Save the Rhino Run in Waltham Cross at the weekend. This was a run where you go as far as you can in up to 7 Hours and Paul did 31.1 Miles in 6hrs 57min 32sec.

Meanwhile, at the very muddy Easier Said Than Run Marathon, at Hinchingbrooke Country Park, Huntingdon, Laura Prime finished in 11th place out of 23 finishers and 1st Female in 4.53.44.

At the Half of Monster run in the Netherlands Fieke Blackwell finished the Half Marathon in 62nd place out of 224 finishers in 1.38.48 in her debut at the distance.

In the 5.4k race Pas Blackwell was 3rd out of 109 finishers in a superb 19.02.

At Harlow parkrun there were PB runs from Scott Bird who finished in 3rd place out of 224 finishers in 19.12, Chris Melia 17th in 21.02, Bradley Power 31st in 22.59, Rob Peters 61st in 25.37, Luella Dixon 118th in 29.13 and Alan Godbold 119th in 29.17.
