Harlow schools perform at Christmas cheerleading festival

THIS Thursday they were treated to an amazing Christmas Cheerleading Festival at Mark Hall. What started out as an idea on a field at Theydon Bois in the summer, became a reality as eight schools and nearly 200 pupils and many spectators descended, pom-poms and all, on the Sports Centre. The children simply shone!
The moves, choreography, individual and group performances were amazing; it gave many children an opportunity to represent their school in a different way and they beamed with pride – as did all the adults watching.
Thanks again to all the school staff who spent hours organising routines; it was certainly worth the effort as the children did you all very proud.
Such was the success, this event will now be added to our annual calendar. Schools performing were: Church Langley, Saint Nicholas, Fawbert and Barnard, Henry Moore, Roydon Primary, Newhall Primary, Little Parndon and Potter Street.
