Athletics: Laura embodies spirit of running in Harlow

THIS was a relatively quiet week for Harlow Running and Tri Club but can we give a quick shout out to their club secretary Laura Prime.
Winter, summer. spring and summer, she is out there competing. But she is also, week in week out, helping coaching down at the track at Mark Hall.
Ambassador she is but a friend to each and every runner.
Harlow Running and Tri Club member Laura Prime, a long distance specialist, completed the ‘Twas The Run Before Christmas’ 45k Ultra at Brandon, Suffolk, in a time of 4hrs 58min 09sec.
Meanwhile, at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10k Santa Run Amanda Martin-Hose finished in 301st place out of 304 finishers in 1.20.12.
Triathlete James Ferreira completed the Dorney Lake, Windsor, Sprint Bikeathon (5k run, 20k bike, 2.5k run) finishing in 20th place out of 43 finishers in 1.24.47.
There was a parkrun PB from Katie Brownjohn at Harlow parkrun, finishing in 127th place out of 155 finishers in 36.23.
