A KIND-hearted Harlow family are, once again, raising funds for a very worthy cause by covering their house in Christmas lights.
Longbanks resident Katie Pope said: “This year again Danny and I have chosen Essex Air Ambulance.
“We have chosen them because they solely rely on charity for them to be able to save thousands of life’s each year.
So to raise money we have nearly covered (I say nearly as we still have space) our house in Christmas lights.
“Every year we go bigger by putting another one or two on but this year we have two lights and two more inflatables.
We have thought about electric prices but to be honest I’m more than happy to do this for a very worthy cause.
“Every penny and pound will be taken with a lot of thanks from us.
“Merry Christmas everyone. Love from Katie, Danny and family.”

Thank you for your lovely house illumination, Katie and Danny and all your helpers! Neil Poole had made me aware of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance in the area of Great Parndon, and you are doing a great job to attract further attention. Congratulations to all others mentioned who were able to raise funds to keep the service going!
Great cause, fantastic way to raise money, but its an eye sore. Gets worse every year.
