Church Langley: Teenage electric scooter rider in collision with car

EMERGENCY services attended a road traffic collision in Church Langley on Tuesday.

The collision happened at just after 4pm on Tuesday January 17th on Church Langley Way and Tickenhall Drive.

Essex Police has told YH that the collision was between a vehicle and the driver of an electric scooter.

An East of England spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.03pm on Tuesday 17th January with reports that a teenage boy had been hit by a car on Church Langley Way in Harlow.

“An ambulance was sent to the scene and transported the patient to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for further assessment and treatment for minor injuries.”

I hope the kid is ok, but on the flip-I hope the police took the illegal dangerous scooter off the road!

The boys scooter collided with my dads car , a 13 yr old boy had a fast scooter that he couldn’t control , he had no safety helmet either . He hurt his shoulder and had a few cuts and grazes . The mother will not accept what happened and is trying to say my dad was speeding which is totally untrue .
