LAST week, 15 teachers from across Europe visited Harlow to work with Kingsmoor Academy as part of an Erasmus+ project called, ‘Playing With New Words.’

The project is looking at the effectiveness of games when learning and promoting language acquisition. 

Teachers from Spain, Romania, Turkey and the Czech Republic, as well as staff from Kingsmoor are working on a database of online, classroom and outdoor games that will help children when acquiring new language.

A spokesperson said: “It was a really good week looking at the similarities and differences between our education systems and working collaboratively on such an exciting project”.
