Total muppets! Sad that they think it's acceptable behaviour. No thought for young children or the elderly and what it mentally can do to them. Send them to young offenders.

Send them to Gordonstoun: cheaper than young offenders, gets them out of their toxic environment and more effective! Teens with machetes in Newhall last week, knives in the Stow, a murder victim in the ponds, solvent abuse and whacky baccy everywhere, points to an abject failure of governments to sort the sources and causes of crime. Probably because our leaders either went to Eaton and or are millionaires.

Failure of government? More like failure of parents!!

Mari yes it is a parents responsibility. It needs to be nipped in the bud before someone gets seriously hurt. Harlow used to be a great town now look at it.

I'd love to see a vigilante group go out and round these youths up, take them in the woods and give them a real good beating, word would soon get around then know more trouble, job done.

The one parent family as is the trend, leave their kids to their own devices and as a consequence, do as they please until told otherwise.. Kids need parent(s) to be their role model and guiding, shining, light.

I agree with most of these comments because it is all down to the parents why these youths are carrying on the way they are. So many parents out there blame everyone but themselves for their kids being so bad. Its the parents who are to blame. Your kids, your problem and responsibility. Stop blaming everyone but yourselves.

How about a youth clubs , sports events in the stow area . There are places they could take place. Instead of cutting services its time to spend in these areas. I mean if we can continually fund a war in Ukraine then why can’t we help our local areas.

The stow has always been a breeding ground for low life skanks. I can't imagine it ever changing.

To you load of arseholes that blame single parents for these idiots, I'm a single parent, I work full time, have my own money and home and my daughter is doing a law degree, stop stigmatising, there's plenty of two parent families out there who can't cut the mustard, sad bastards.

Not all 1 parent family's have children like this. It really gets my back up when you hear - its cause they from a single parent family. My son is a hard working 21yr old, 3yr apprenticeship under his belt. I was strict on him really strict because of small minded people. Didn't want him to have that stigma over his head. Yes its a parents job to teach our kids respect, bring them up right but we are not all the same, don't have the same morals. What went wrong ?

Disgusting crimes. People should feel confident when running errands etc. without the fear of being harassed by kids that should be at school and working hard for their exams.

The whole Country used to be good, now look at it😠😠 Because the Country now is full of do gooders, and the justice system has gone nanby pamby. The only justice is an 'eye for an eye' now.

This looks like a case of chicken coming home to roost. Kids having kids, this society have allowed young girls to had babies they can’t look after years down the line those kids are older with no father figure. You all are to blame for letting this happen so don’t go blaming ignorant and fatherless kids

I don’t know how so many of you can blame parents. Not all parents are to blame for how the kids turn out. My parents raised several children, all well behaved. I though was a nightmare in my teens and that was to do with peer pressure, I was easily influenced and also encouraged bad behaviour in my friends. Totally changed after leaving school though and starting work. I can’t think of any of my friends who were dragged up either, they were just the black sheep so to speak. Some families do have generations of bad though

Bruce what has one parent families got to do with anything???? I’m a single parent and my son has never done anything like this. It doesn’t matter if a child has one or two parents. Pure discrimination to single parent families. The parents of these boys that got arrested might of been mortified .

It's highly predictable when braindead people in this town keep voting for disturbing, disgusting, scam artist Tories. Poverty drives crime Tories drive poverty to a monumental scale. When working class people vote for poverty you know the media played them as the fools they are.

Novoman, there is no problem with cannabis if used in moderation by adults, in fact in my experience the last thing I was a threat to when high was a family size pack of snacks. The problem is the police have been massively underfunded over the last 20 years or so, the same as all the other emergency services

Kim

It’s not the using of cannabis but the dealers that draw the young kids into their webs that’s the problem. Then the using of it is a problem because of supply. Kids are shown a way to easy money and a “fairytale “ lifestyle. it’s not parents good or bad it’s kids feeding into a dream that’s really a nightmare.

Some common sense. Drugs are bad, and often lead to introduction of harder substances. Kids from single parent households statistically are more likely to commit crime. Individuals who commit crime often times have a disadvantage in life, whether it be a lack of decent education, lack of parental supervision, lower IQ or other. The last thing we need is comments screaming down anyone who says anything negative against criminals needing to be punished.

David

D your talking absolute bollocks, kids from one parent families are no worse than kids with two parent families, it's down to parenting skills being taught what's right from wrong and how you discipline then when they do wrong, your completely out of touch with society.
