The standard of driving has now hit an all time low, you very rarely see police presence on the roads, people are in to much of a hurry, this section of the road is dead straight so can't understand how this has come about except unfortunately driver error, as a hgv driver we see all to often the lack of patience and respect for other road users.

David is right, everyone seems to be in such a rush these days. There's alot of anger and aggressive behaviour on the roads too. People should look at navigation sites like g-maps and accept the fact you need to add 30 mins on your journey. Accept the fact morons will block roundabouts for no reason, will cut infont of you because they can't wait 2 seconds to file in. Always expect the unexpected, but now days expect everyone is a moron, and you will live to see one more day.

@David I was driving on the inside lane of this stretch of road a few years ago when a lorry from the middle lane turned into me, crushing my car. He didn’t even realise what he had done until other cars beeped at him, due to not hearing or feeling the impact. I’m terrified of driving near HGVs now because they drive like they own the roads, switching lanes without allowing enough space between them and other vehicles. Switching lanes last minute at slip roads. Not indicating etc. I don’t think it’s other road users that are the problem
