THE return of the Indoor Sportshall Athletics for Secondary pupils, saw the return of St Mark’s dominance. With all six Harlow secondary schools (Passmores, Mark Hall, Burnt Mill, St Marks, St Nicholas and Stewards) in attendance, and over 200 athletes, the standard was high; there were some outstanding individual performances in both track and field but St Marks were able to maintain the points gap with some fantastic team work in the relay events.
School Games Organiser, David Stacey, gave thanks to all the secondary staff who had arranged to get the Year 7 and 8 pupils to Mark Hall Sports Centre and to the Sports Leaders from Church Langley Primary School who ensured a smooth running event.
