Petition set up to save much loved equestrian facility in Nazeing

PLEASE support Harold’s Park Farm in Nazeing. It is just one more out of 100’s of equestrian facilities that are being closed.

A petition has been set up by concerned horse owners and riders.

It states: “We have to stand up and fight back to protect the future of equestrian opportunities for everyone.

Let’s force this issue to get the support it requires for our children and grandchildren. Stop losing livery yards and venues.

The Right Honourable Lord Mackie owned the farm and sold it to the Church of England with a three generational lease.

They presumed that under the custodianship of the church, that the farm and equestrian presence would be safeguarded and there for generations to enjoy for years to come.

Sadly we are losing too many equestrian facilities and this is a devastating loss as it’s one of the cheapest around that enables anyone to have access to horses. Even those that can’t afford the full cost of owning a horse have been able to have a horse to share for the day for as little as £15 a day. Let’s not deny this privilege to our future generations

This is not only devastating for the future of keeping horses for ordinary people who love them and enjoy caring for them but also a worry regarding exactly what the Church intends to do with this property. They have made it plain they do not want equestrian facilities.

This is disgusting I thought the church would look out for gods creatures. There must be something that can stop them from closing this
