WHEN we interviewed over seventy five Harlow residents as part of the town’s 75th anniversary celebrations, we interviewed Marlena Mandat and were struck by her confidence and positivity.

So we thought Marlena would be an excellent person to interview as part of International Women’s Day.

Marlena wears many hats including chair of governors at Jerounds Primary as well as vice-chair of Rainbow Services.

However, we interviewed her whilst she was working in London to discuss her roles and what International Women’s Day means to her.
