SKILL at Arms on the Harlow border week were recently involved in the planning of 3,000 trees.
They were joined by the Sea Cadets, Police Cadets, members of St James Church High Wych, members from Harlow Allotment and members from Redricks Target Shooting Club.
A spokesperson said: “We were completely overwhelmed by the generosity of the awesome crew of volunteers that came along to pitch in with the planting of over 3,000 hedgerows and trees at Redricks Ranges!
In memory of Her Majesty the Queen, we took on the challenge, with the help of Hertfordshire County Council, cadets, RTSC club, church and allotment members.
But the volunteers are the ones we owe the credit to; we couldn’t have achieved it without you.
With over 60 volunteers spanning two days we got to it and smashed it! What a bunch of absolute legends!
