Statement from Essex Police

“We were called to a collision in Potter Street, Harlow, shortly before 9.45pm last night, Tuesday 14 March.

The incident involved a motorcyclist who had sustained an injury.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains. 

No arrests have been made and our enquiries into the circumstances around the incident are continuing.

We need anyone with information on the incident to get in touch.

We’d like to speak to anyone with dashcam, mobile phone or CCTV footage of the area.

A SECTION of Potter Street has been closed after a road traffic incident.

The location is just at the roundabout near to Prentice Place.

YH understands that the incident occurred at just after 9.30pm on Tuesday night.

There appears out be a motorbike on the ground near to the junction with Hillside.

The Essex Police helicopter was up in the area for close to an hour.

YH has contacted the relevant press offices and requested more details.
