A HARLOW man has starred in ITV’s Saturday evening talent show Starstruck.

Starstruck is a singing competition show where the contestants sing as their idol and battle it out against others singing as their idol.

Ryan Donkin performed as Frank Sinatra singing his version of New York, New York.

Ryan certainly impressed the judges as they voted the three Franks through to the final.

There, Ryan performed one of his favourites, That’s Life.

One of the other “Franks” won but a number of people pointed out that the winning Frank, Andrew (Bourn) had reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent as part of troupe Jack Pack as opposed to Ryan who sings as a hobby whilst holding down a full time job is as a caretaker at a school.

Well done Ryan. If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere!
