Update: Essex Police has confirmed that the search is connected to the Phillip Lewis murder investigation.

A LARGE police presence is in attendance at a pond in Harlow.

A marine unit is searching the Church End pond in the Katherines area of Harlow.

The police have set up a tent with lights at the edge of the pond.

Six police vehicles are also parked at the far end close to St Mary’s Church.
