FIRE crews were called out to the Staple Tye area of Harlow on Saturday night

YH understands it was the former site of the Lister House surgery. The fire service was called as smoke blew into the Shawbridge area of Harlow.

An Essex Fire Service spokesperson said: “Crews were called to Perry Road, Harlow, at 8.22pm yesterday after reports of a fire.

“On arrival firefighters reported it was a bonfire and closed the incident at 8.35pm”.
